Caz (Carol) Batson (Bosch)

Caz started her Y journey as a Director of Y Eastern Goldfields, WA in 1985. She served as Vice President of this Association before terms as President of the Y Central Australian and President of the Y Northern Territory Council. Caz joined the National Board in 1996, serving as only the second female President from 2000 to 2003. She was actively involved in a wide variety of Y Governance roles at the Y in Australia, including Vice President of the Y of South Australia; Chair of the Y Australia Personnel and International Committees; and a founding member of the Y Institute of Education and Training from its establishment in 1997. Caz also served as Vice President of the YMCA Asia and Pacific Alliance’s Finance and Administration Standing Committee. Caz is passionately interested in social issues and committed to the notion that individual action can make a difference.
