Our Structure

The Board provides strategic leadership and governance for the Y Movement in Australia, guiding our federation’s long-term direction and overseeing the delivery of key strategic priorities.

Working collaboratively, the Board brings diverse perspectives and collective decision-making to support strong leadership, accountability and the safeguarding of children and young people.

We thank our Board members for their ongoing leadership, service and commitment to the work of the Y in Australia.

The Y Australia celebrates our Life Governors and their impactful service, regardless of age, to the Y Movement. 

Life Governorship is an honorary position awarded to volunteers or staff who have made an exemplary contribution to the Y Movement in their work and advocacy. Life Governors are appointed by the Y Australia National Board. Life Governors are not board members though they may be called upon to act as officiators or advisors to the board.
