Community Services

The Y’s community services are built around access and inclusion, helping remove the barriers that prevent people from participating fully in education, employment, health and community life.
From practical supports like school breakfast initiatives that help children start the day ready to learn, to inclusion-focused services for people with disability and place-based community hubs that foster connection and belonging, our work responds to real and local community needs.
We focus on early intervention, partnership and long-term outcomes. Through trusted partnerships with schools, councils and community organisations, and grounded in local insight and strong safeguarding practice, we create safe, welcoming environments where people and families can build confidence and strengthen their capability.

Our impact can be felt throughout every Y site, centre and person across the country.
We empower communities with the access, tools and services they need to stay connected. We ensure every child and young person can find a safe haven in the Y, so they can learn, grow and have fun while doing it.
We’re welcoming and inclusive of all people – regardless of gender, ethnicity, ability, sexuality, culture or belief. We care deeply about our clients, customers and communities. You can trust us and our track record to deliver the programs and services you need.
